Wellesley HOA encourages fun and the use of our amenities to the fullest extent, and we've implemented a procedure for requesting pool parties simply to keep things safe and to keep the pool from being overcrowded.
To use the pool for a pool party, residents will need to do the following:
1) At least two weeks prior to the requested pool party date, send an email to email@example.com to get approval to host a pool party at the Wellesley pool. The email must contain the following information pertaining to your pool party: the date, the start and end times, the number of guests who will be attending (number of kids versus adults and number of swimmers versus non-swimmers), and whether or not alcohol will be present at the party.
2) Once the HOA reviews your request, we will send back to you an approval/disapproval notice.
3) If you are not approved, please remember that the 2009 pool rules will apply if you choose to host your pool party anyway.
4) If you are approved, the notice will indicate the number of lifeguards you will be required to hire (....the number of lifeguards required fluctuates with the logistics of your party--date, time,
number of guests/swimmers, if there's another function going on at the pool that day, etc....), and it will have a cc: to our pool management company so that they know that the HOA approved the event. You will still need to contact our pool management company to reserve the lifeguard(s), though. The pool management company will be able to tell you what their hourly rate is per lifeguard, and their contact information is as follows:
Crystal Blue Aquatic
Let them know that you were approved to host a party and that you need lifeguard(s), and then they will work out with you their procedure for securing and paying for additional lifeguard(s). For more info, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
